Laser welding quantity product quality management method
After the quality of laser welding meets the requirements, the product enters the mass production stage, but the shape of the product changes in mass production, production site changes and other situations happen from time to time. Because of the precision of laser welding, every small change has the possibility of affecting the welding quality, so it is necessary to continue to evaluate the welding quality after the product enters the mass production stage. The commonly used evaluation methods are: air tightness inspection method, blowing test method, failure test method, etc.
1. Air tightness inspection method
The gas tightness inspection method is to place the parts completed laser welding on the fixture, pressurize the opening part, observe whether the barometer reading changes, the air pressure remains unchanged to judge as qualified. This method is suitable for all kinds of welding process, and the whole product is generally checked.
2. Blow test method
Blowout test method is to inflate the parts completed by laser welding from the opening part until the welding part breaks, observe the maximum reading of the barometer as the instantaneous pressure of failure, judge whether the pressure is higher than the safe to. This method is generally only the first and last part of the inspection.
3. Failure test method
The damage test method is to destroy the parts completed by laser welding with hammer and other tools, and forcibly peel the parts through the laser from the melted parts, observe the peeling state of the joint part, whether the welding part is brittle damage all around. This method is generally only the first and last part of the inspection.
Through the investigation of domestic headlight enterprises, it is found that most headlight manufacturers are aware of the advantages of laser welding technology in the field of headlight, and more or less try on some models, but at the same time, the hidden dangers caused by the introduction of new technology in some manufacturers are not well realized, resulting in water leakage due to poor welding quality. That led to some customer complaints. Through the investigation of manufacturers with more mature laser welding technology, we realize that advanced production technology must be supported by advanced quality management technology in order to really play its advantages.
